VIROQUA, Wis. ― The 26th Annual Wisconsin Jersey Spring Spectacular is set to return to the Vernon County Fairgrounds in Viroqua, Wis., on May 2-3, bringing together top-tier registered Jersey cattle from across the Midwest.
This event draws breeders from Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, and beyond, showcasing their finest cattle and competing for top honors. In previous years, the Spring Spectacular welcomed up to 500 attendees, solidifying its status as a premier event in the Jersey cattle community.
Trent Kilgus will judge the 2025 show. Entry forms will be released March 15. Exhibitors can take advantage of early registration with a $20 exhibitor fee and a $10 per animal charge for entries postmarked on or before April 18. Entries postmarked between April 19-25 will be $25. After this deadline, entries will be accepted at the show for $100.
The event kicks off on Friday, May 2, with Showmanship starting at 3:00 p.m. The cattle show will continue on Saturday, May 3, beginning at 9:00 a.m. with the winter heifers. The Wisconsin Jersey Spring Spectacular will also feature a silent auction, with proceeds supporting the operation of the event.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for individuals, organizations, and businesses looking to support the show and gain visibility within the agricultural community.
Organized entirely by dedicated volunteers, the Wisconsin Jersey Spring Spectacular continues to be a highlight for Jersey cattle enthusiasts.
