MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Charges were dismissed against one of the suspects in a Manitowoc shooting.
Clarence Holder and Dianne Holder were charged in connection with the Nov. 4 shooting on Viebahn Street. The injuries were not fatal.
All of the charges against Dianne Holder were classified as being “party to the crime.” However, at a motions hearing Wednesday, Judge Mark Rohrer dismissed the charges against her.
“The court finds that the amended criminal complaint does not contain sufficient facts to prove the defendant’s involvement in the case. With the facts in the amended criminal complaint, the court finds that the defendant would be classified as bystander and not an accomplice to the crime,” court records state.
The charges were dismissed without prejudice, however, meaning prosecutors could re-file them.
Clarence Holder, who is charged with attempted homicide and other counts, returns to court May 3 for a preliminary hearing.
